Egypt inked a protocol to boost the exchange of trade with Uzbekistan up to USD 500 mn in the coming years, according to a statement. The pair agreed to reduce existing trade barriers and establish a joint Egyptian-Uzbek Business Council to facilitate investments.

ALSO- UAE + Croatia discussed ways to increase trade growth across various sectors including agriculture, manufacturing, renewables, and transportation, Wam reported earlier this week. Bilateral non-oil trade between the two countries rose by 44.8% y-o-y to USD 78.9 mn in 1H 2024, while re-exports also rose by 83.4% to USD 8.4 mn all in the same time period.
