CMA CGM launches new regional shipping route: French Shipping giant CMA CGM is launching on 10 July its new EMED 1 Service connecting Turkey, Egypt, and Lebanon, according to a statement. The weekly service, which will be operated using a single vessel with a nominal capacity of 1.1k TEU, will link the Port of Alexandria in Egypt, Antalya Port in Turkey, and Beirut Port in Lebanon.

Etihad Cargo adds new routes to Madrid: Etihad Cargo, the logistics and cargo arm of Etihad Airways, is launching two new flights to Madrid per week, Wam reports. The Boeing 777 freighter flights will add over 200 tonnes of cargo capacity for Europe starting from 15 July, and will run between Abu Dhabi and Madrid. This will bring the total number of flights to Spain to 25 per week.
NextNorth Air Mobility + FlyNow Aviation collaborate on air mobility: Qatar-based air taxi company NextNorth Air Mobility has signed an MoU with FlyNow Aviation, which develops modular electric eCopters for cargo, to enhance Urban Air Mobility (UAM) solutions in the Middle East, according to a press release. Under the MoU, the two sides will explore potentially introducing passenger and cargo eVTOLS in several regions around the world.

Jordan has inaugurated the new Amman Customs Center in Al Madouneh, which aims to streamline operations and reduce costs, Jordan Times reports. The new facility, which covers over 130k square meters, is equipped with a solar power station with a 3k KW capacity and can handle 900 trucks, and can be expanded to accommodate an additional 256 trucks.
