Gunther Alvarado appointed as Al Seer Marine CEO

UAE-based shipping company Al Seer Marine has appointed Gunther Alvarado as its new Deputy CEO (LinkedIn), according to a press release. Alvarado has over 20 years of maritime industry and in-house experience and has held the position of COO since 2021.

ALSO- Qatar has been elected Chair of the International Civil Aviation Organization’s (ICAO) subsidiary Air Transport Committee (ATC), according to a statement. The ICAO elected Qatar’s ICAO Council permanent representative Essa Abdulla Al Malki as ATC Chairperson at the ICAO Council meeting in Montreal. The ATC provides assistance and advice on air transport issues as detailed by the ICAO’s convention on International Civil Aviation, including the adoption of standards and recommended practices related to air transportation.
